Sir,
I am directed to refer to your letter no. 1572/EST/LC dated 08/11/2011 on the above mentioned subject and to say that 480 nos. of Labour Welfare Facilitation Centre were created in Blocks, municipalities and Corporation etc. areas vide this department’s order no. 634-G.E. dated 29.03.2010. as such 480 nos. of new posts of Clerk with knowledge of Computer Operation on contract basis were also created vide this department’s order no. 2295-G.E. dated 06.07.2010.
2) The Governor has been pleased to accord sanction for re-engagement of 480 nos. of clerk with knowledge of computer operation for a further period of one year on the existing consolidated pay with effect from the date of completion of their respective one year service.
3) As per Finance Department’s Memo No. 9008 –F(P) dated 16.09.2011 there is no provision for payment of D.A. for contractual workers. As the clerk with knowledge of computer operation were allowed D.A. earlier they are allowed to draw the same at the said rate without any increase and they are allowed 14 (fourteen) off days in a calendar year no other leave is admissible.
4) This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department vide their U.O. No. 4625 Gr. P (Service) dated 16.01.2012
